Trying update to 2.2.1

    FalconeDigital , Mar 5, 2016 :
Well, I have a rooted OPT and Boeffla kernel installed. And as you know, rooted phone can't receive automatic updates. So, I tried to flash the 2.2.1 patch manually from recovery. And when I was flashing it, I've got an "Error 7". And I can't update to the newest version now. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
I am sorry if I have some mistakes in text, I'm just 14 years old guy from Finland xD.

You need to dirty flash the full rom of 2.2.0 then install the OTA, then supersu and your kernel

your /system must be clean , no custom flashing .

Download the full 2.2.0 ROM from their website, then download the 2.2.1 ota. Boot into recovery, wipe dalvik + cache, flash the full 2.2.0 ROM and then the ota. Then flash SuperSU again for root.

What do you mean by "custom flashing" and clean /system directory?

As long as you don't wipe data in recovery you will not lose anything

While your doing this you may also want to update to the latest TWRP. 3.0.0-2

I did all that yesterday. No issues.

    Update TWRP
    Wipe cache and Dalvick
    Flash full 2.2.0
    Flash 2.2.1 patch
    Reboot
