Turn off fingerprint light before touching

I understand that the fingerprint light needs to be on to read a fingerprint but the light on while it is waiting for you to touch the screen causes screen burn and is very bright in lowlight situations.

I know it is possible not to have it showing until you touch the screen as this is what happens with Safe in Cloud Password manager.

How can I turn it off so that it only shows when I touch the screen?

There is no screen burn in fingure print touch, it's the animated effect which feels great. Anyway try the normal one.

Setting> Customisation> fingure print animation and try this

That is not what I asked.

There is screen burn caused by the fingerprint lights and turning it off until it is touched will help as well as not lighting up the room when all you are doing is checking the time.

It's not going to cause burn in unless that's displayed at high brightness for like around 10 to 15 mins.
