For anyone who might be curious:

The only way I could find to get my text messaging working was to factory reset the phone and go through the setup again (with the SIM card in the phone), as soon as I did that, text messaging worked just fine.

    Thanks for your help, everyone.

Does t-mobile plan on adding OPO to its line up any time soon? I'm currently using a samsung galaxy ace and i don't know if they has LTE on it, plus it uses a normal size sim and not micro sim. I do have 3 sim cards coming in the mail 2 micros and 1 normal to replace mine after i cut it cause i dont want to wait an extra day to use the OPO :)

in in california. 15 mins from downtown LA and my service was crap for over 2-3 years it got to a point where enough was enough my 3g speeds were consistently 0.3kbps i couldn't even load google. that wouldnt be an issue if i had consistent 4g or lte but the service was terrible either way. with calls people would say they couldnt hear and i would blame it on the phones but after 3 different phones by 3 different companies htc samsung and lg to be exact the problem would persist so i came to the conclusion that the problem was sprint

i switched my 3 lines over in may and last week recieved my reimbursement of $1020 for the cancellation of my 3 lines.

    i couldnt be more happier

I now think my issue might have been a CM Voice + issue...

There is an option buried under Settings -> Wireless & Networks -> Voice+ called "Enable all apps to send SMS messages through Google Voice" When this is checked, my messages don't send...

Just stumbled across, and thought I'd post back in case someone else runs into this.

And as for iwantafoneyo asked, yes, I used a new SIM from T-Mo and my OPO IMEI with no issue.

    Thanks,

Would like to keep in touch with you. Im on tmob in case I have issues. Do you know if there is a possibility for tmob to add the IMEIS? One plus is advertising on their page that att and tmob are the carriers to go with.

Once the phone is unlocked, just take to a store and IMEI is added into the sytem in order to activate on the network.
Just let me know if you questions regarding Tmo or anything.

I have a Nexus 4 on T-Mobile. The T-Mobile US LTE option doesn't show under my APN choices.

When I re-use the SIM card in my (hopefully someday) OPO+, I'll be curious to see whether the LTE option appears automatically because my new phone supports it, or if I'll have to go to the T-Mobile store to have the card re-configured or simply get a new card.

Anyone with insight or experience for this situation?

I know someone personally who upgraded to the OPO from their Nexus 4. He just used the same SIM card and managed to get LTE speeds. The speeds obtain aren't dependent on the card, but more so the device itself; the SIM card primarily authenticates with the T-Mobile network that you are a customer that's supposed to get service.

The only SIM-specific feature is if you're looking to use the new Isis Wallet features, which sucks compared to Google Wallet haha.

I was hoping it was hardware-dependent. Thanks!
