Oled for image quality, home cinema features such as dolby vision, eArc (so media player can output full quality audio) and refresh rate/colour space switching.

Fast enough processor, which is the bane of most TV SoC's.

I would also like a camera as I previously loved using Skype via my TV before Microsoft axed support.

a tv to me is like a washing machine. as long as it does it's primary job I wouldn't just buy another one to replace it. don't fix what's not broken.

tho for a dream.tv I'd really like if my phone was intergraded to connect to tv. yeah there's smart TVs now. but what if you could do more than casting. like video calling and have some sort of app that enhances functionality. what if you could have capacitive touch capabilities like your phone. or independent voice control. I mean we are living in 2018 anything is possible.....what if one plus made it's own unique virtual assistant ..... that we can customize and is integrated with our tv and our whole.house....i mean Google has it figured out already but it would be nice if there was some OnePlus flare to it....I'd call it Suno. letters taken out of OnePlus. haha just my imagination talking now.

First I would ask what do you mean by TV? because for me the TV has a display, however there are already a lot of products (small boxes that have to be connected to a display) that are also calling their selves TVs...
If we speak about the first one I think the Smart in there is not needed at all... because it is slow, available OSs are not offering enough things...
I would prefer high quality display, the ultra thin from Lg is a masterpiece... and would offer easy way to that from available devices on market on that display.
It is ok to have it stand alone, however when it is slow on typing and navigating... that is irritating... So I would better type and navigate on another device and would only display on the TV!

Low latency to be used a gaming monitor would be nice, but that's way too niche to be a selling point.

Design, image quality and built-in Android TV would be the KSP for me.

But I'll only see myself buying a new TV when either my current one breaks down or I finally move to my yet to build house.

To be honest, I would much rather see you guys launching a smart speaker with Sonos-like audio quality (which actually could be a nice product to launch along with the TV if they can double as TV speakers, like Sonos does it).

Have you considered for a moment that different people have different roles? That hardware and product developers aren't really the ones programming?

Something very important that many TVs leave aside BLUETOOTH because there are many people that their Bluetooth speakers and can not connect them with their TV which generates uneasiness, besides that they could be use keyboard or useful gadgets.
    I hope you hear me!!

I would love if my tv had a built in AV system to hook up my surround sound to so that I don't need a separate device for. This would make it a little bulkier and need fans or something to help keep it cool, but that would be sweet. Other than that I would say a good smooth OS with support for apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc... and Bluetooth so that I can either control the TV with my device or, in the case of a really good audio system installed, play music from my device on the TV, like a Bluetooth speaker would

    The hardware list:
    • Optional sound system (Sound bar or home theater)
    • Bluetooth support for headphones
    • Premium 4K OLED panel
    • Android TV
    • Fast and responsive interface
    • Rechargeable bluetooth remote or smartphone remote (I prefer physical buttons)
    • Bezel-less design
    • Always on display of weather, time, date
    • Voice control
Should be a simple design and similar to TVs now with a focus on software. How we interact with the TV is what needs to change if feel. More on that later. Off to work. :(
