Type-C is just the connector. It has nothing to do with the speed of it. It's most likely USB 2.0 anyway since there's only 4 connectors on each side, so no amazingly fast charging.

I don't think they should risk installing QHD display on 2. OPPO Find 7 has terrible battery life, for example.

Would rather see a great camera not just hardware but software too. FHD for me rather have the battery life knowing I never have to worry about charging my phone during the day no matter how heavy I use it.

I think what most people haven't thought of as a possibility is there could be a type with FHD and one with QHD. Yes, it is probably very unlikely, but it's still a possibility due to the mixed feedback they have been getting about the screen resolution. In my opinion, OnePlus will go with whatever options they think are best and the phone will turn out to be amazing no matter what.

Plus also more and faster RAM and a better CPU. With all the components being future-proof, including only a 1080p display would be quite underwhelming and the contrary. I too think the OP2 will have a QHD display. I don't need it, but as long as battery and performance remains good... why not?

    DEXY likes this.

The picture comparison of the two resolutions isn't fair, because the 1440p display is definitely a higher quality display, not just in resolution.

Gone are the days of FHD now its QHD or AMOLED, why am telling this is because 2k and 4k is a crap just a battery drainer. IF OPT supports VR then it should have QHD at least. Also it has more battery power. So it indicates something about QHD. (makes sense right ;) ).

My bro owns OPO its cam is not so good as a flagship killer should have. it lacked there, now its time for OPT to come out with something stunning on July 27. Waiting.. tick...tick ...tick :)
