Two Grey dot are visible in direct sunlight

    As Circled in photo two Grey dots are visible in direct sunlight
    . I checked in others phone they are also facing this issue what is this ?

    I also see them under direct sunlight. I guess they are brightness/proximity sensors. Similar but larger gray circle is visible for the fingerprint reader (but also under direct sunlight).

    I think so it's something else because that sensor are left side of front camera
    And I have OnePlus 6T also this dot are not visible in it in direct sunlight

    The same sensors are there on the 7pro... don't know if it's ambient/proximity but there are holes by design!

    To answer why you can see them is because it's basically a hole in the screen so that the sensor can shine through. You will find a third hole if you look closely at the fingerprint reader... This is a screenshot from jerryrigeverything teardown video, look when he shines light through the display from the front.

    Hi guys, some situation here. Under the sunlight is very annoying, because I can see these 2 grey dots as you can see in this picture. I opened the RMA, Oneplus accepted it, I had to send my phone in Poland and CTDI told me that "No fault found - no malfunction has beed detected".

    So what I have to think? It's all normal (wow, 600 euros for this screen), all the devices are faulty or the repair service is useless? Oneplus contacted me and asked me to open another RMA... lol

    Such a waste of money and time.

    I have notice that two holes in first day from buying one plus 7
    I send it back . ask them to send me new one .
    so I got new one with two big and small holes
    I contacted them and told what is the problem with this . screen
    but I got No answer .
    my experience is Service in Poland is useless . and there support also .
