my oneplus 8T cable stopped working last week. I visited service center as my phone is still under warranty. But they didn't diagnosed my cable and also refused to change under warranty stating cable have physical damage. I'm attaching picture of the same. I also want to know do oneplus justify that cable is not working due IMG-20210715-WA0016.jpg to this?

    They just did !

The service center is the point of contact if you want a replacement.

    This is a community forum.
Nothing anyone here can to do to get you a free cable replacement.

    What solution do you expect??
Just buy a new cable, it’s obvious the cable is pinched which is physical damage and not covered under warranty.

If you want your motherboard replaced, it’s not under warranty. They’ll do it however is my best guess, as long as you pay

This happens to the cables after a while. Without any force and it doesn't have to be your fault. We have our cables always where nothing is going to hurt it or pinch it and so on. But they're crapping out after a while. Weird is that it looks pinched or damaged by something but it isn't. The plastic around the cable is coming apart at some point just from regular usage.

That's why I replaced our cables long time ago with a third party cable -non OnePlus - and since then no problems anymore. For almost 2 years now.
