Nah, it happens all around the UI.

    Scrolling stutters.
    Pulldown shade stutters.

It's an issue since Android 10 update

    10*

Since the last version update basically.

And at this point 3 or 4 small updates after, I'm starting to believe those 120hz look so nice in comparison for a reason

There was a launcher update recently. You could try to update the launcher and see if the problem still exists.
My launcher now has version 4.5.7.
    Lags have been reduced significantly.
A factory reset should always be the last option. Some people even install Windows new every time they update their graphics driver...

Right now it started again on my phone, too. It's a real pain in the butt, but it's only started since Android 10. Under Android 9 I never faced that issue.

Same issue, animations stutter, there are alot of frame drops while scrolling in apps like Twitter, reddit, etc and apps take a while to open since the last update, UI also feels laggy, it wasn't like this before the last update, hopefully this gets fixed.

With that many issues Backup your phone and do a factory Erase All Data reset.

    See if that helps.

Caomhin, I've already done exactly that 3 times already but it's still the same.

If so, then I would suggest contacting OnePlus support directly.

Report the issue directly to OnePlus Developers as a Bug report.

And also contact OnePlus support directly to see if they have more information on your issue. Scroll down the page for contact and online chat details.

Had the same issue on my 5T, replaced a year ago with 6T. These phones are doomed. Will switch to some other brand. Another gen of phones and they still trace the issue. Did search this forum and tried to apply some changes in settings, wiped etc. etc. , nothin works. It just comes back after a week/two.

Thing is this is a small company, they are pushed to show new phone every year. It can't be done properly with that kind of attitud. I've reported that issue even for my 5T I had previously. My Jaw dropped when I bought 6T and see same thing on new device. That's why I'm switching to pixel, it's over my budge, I'll try though.
