Yo I used to have the same problem with my oneplus 2 every time I'd restart it, it just wouldn't find the three (3) network yet if I'd put a EE sim in it would. What I would have to do is settjngs/mobile networks/network operators and let the three 4g option load and then select it and then it would be fine. Give that a try

I'm having the same issues. I had the oneplus one and it worked fine on the Three network. Since getting the 3 I've had to change to a nano sim which is not allowing me to use 4g network. I've changed the settings from everything I've read but only get a 2g network. Please help!

See my thread posted today in regards to this.

You need to create the APN yourself if you are on a Vodafone Contract.

Link to the settings needed is in my thread.

Both me and my wife are on 3 and we both have no issues with the internet (no signal at home that's a whole different ball game).
When will OnePlus activate the VoLTE capability of the phone and use the 80MHz!?

That's why I switched from 3 to EE. Best networks for coverage are EE/Tmobile and O2. 3 and Vodafone are the worst, with signals dropping off constantly.

It is worth trying the suggestion in this forum posting #1286 by Spelt as this might point to why some of us are not seeing this problem.

Which phone are we talking about here? Where did you buy it? From the UK oneplus store or from somewhere else. I've owned OnePlus 1, 2 3 & x, and all worked on 3 UK. They were all bought though from the UK store, being the EU model. Oneplus 1 didn't support all bands, but did manage to work on 3 ok for me.

i had the very same issue.

    step on: open APN settings
delete all that are in there.
    reboot phone
add new APN setting that represents your service provider.
    reboot phone.
    phone worked.

(i was being advised by support to raise an RMA - try this first)

I'm also on 3 and been having the same issue, and from what I can see it is an issue with the preferred network settings. By dialing into *#*#4636#*#* - when selecting LTE Only- data works fine, but when switching to LTE/GSM- data is no longer available with H! signal

Is any additional configuration necessary when connecting a OnePlus 3 to the EE network in the UK with a SIM only contract?

I haven't actually received my phone yet, but as some users appear to have experienced problems on other networks, I thought that I had better check on here first!

    Thanks! :)

Set it up as a new phone rather than copy settings from a Google backup of another phone. This is discussed by Spelt in posting #1286.

Thanks, but that was my intention anyway, as I intend to use a new gmail address and to set everything up from scratch, rather than trying to copy anything over.

It is just that quite a number of users appear to have problems setting up the OnePlus 3's on the Vodafone network, and I wanted to ensure that I wouldn't have have to do any specific configuration to use mine on EE.
