    Hi all,

    Having some trouble with my Oneplus 3, it's recently started having issues answering and making phone calls. I've had the phone for just under 3 years now and it's been overall very solid. The issues i'm finding now is from about a week ago if someone calls me and I answer the phone I am unable to hear them and they cannot hear me, the display on the phone screen suggests the call is active as you see the seconds increasing on the call. If I cancel the call and try to call them back the same thing happens. A reboot of the phone seems to bring it back to life and allow calls to happen but eventually it will repeat the same issue. I am using dual sim and when the issue happens it affects both SIM's so I think it's software related. I do recall a recent security update coming out a few weeks ago but since the phone reset I don't have the logs.

    Just now I tried to make a call and the phone completley froze during the dialing animation, eventually the screen went black and it was unresponsive, the only way to get it back was a hard reset.

    Troubleshooting so far:
    Cleared the phones cache
    Uninstalled all unnecessary apps
    Factory reset phone

    Does anyone know much about reading the phone logs to try and workout where the problem is coming from?

    Phone details:
    Android Version - 9
    OxygenOS Version - 9.0.5
    Build number - A3003_16_190731

    It's worth mentioning from the factory reset i didn't actually test the phone will pure stock apps, Google did restore a number of them so there's potential for it to be an app problem but I find it unlikely as i'm not much for installing random new apps and as mentioned I have had a clear out to just be safe.

    Would appreciate any advice / guidance on how to get the ol' girl working properly again.

    I suggest you report such issue(s) through the proper channels, as creating a thread here within the community forums isn't the correct places for submitting bug reports. There's a specific sections made for submitting such reports(linked just below), otherwise OnePlus Devs/bug hunters will likely never read this.

    Bug/Issue reports go here;

    Or, continue the discussion within one of the existing release threads for OOS 9.0.X to look for other possible solutions.

    OOS 9.0.2~9.0.3 Pie 9 for OnePlus 3/3T here;

    OOS 9.0.4 Pie 9 for OnePlus 3/3T here;

    OOS 9.0.5 Pie 9 for OnePlus 3/3T here;

    In the future pls use the forums search, before creating unnecessary threads like this one.
