the_o2 , Dec 1, 2020 : Uninstall the updates of Play Store app and Google Play services apps (open the app info of those apps click on 3 dots on top right corner uninstall updates) Open the play Store app, it might be updating itself search for Chrome and click on update. My issue was resolved by doing that, that time play Store update itself to 22.4. If not working download the play Store version 22.4.xx from apk mirror website and then update the Chrome.
