    Hi,
Is it happening only with MX player casting or even while you cast from Youtube/Prime Video etc?
Also what is the video file format you are playing on MX player?

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I am facing the issue with MX Player, VLC Player. Casting on YouTube and rest of the OTT apps works fine.

I am playing .mp4, .mkv. If I am screen-casting the phone it works perfectly fine. It just happening with direct cast from the app.

Ok.. Will check on my device in the evening. Meanwhile, can you try playing the file from pone via Connect App "Files" section.

Hello, I have one query regarding Connect app. When I cast a video from connect app the video stops after couple of minutes once the phone goes to standby

Yes... Casting through Connect App does have some issues sometimes... Issue with the App itself.

Hey Buddy, while casting video the subtitle option shows only 8 subtitles however the video has more than 30 subtitles encoded to it. I have attached the screenshot. Do you know how we can add external subtitle file to the video?

    Hi..
This is a known issue. The Internal player has limitation of number of Subs embedded and doesn't show all. Even externally added subs show as list but as there are already 30, the new one will go as 31 which won't solve your purpose.
I use Nova Player in such situations.

Does the Nova Player allows casting to the TV?

If you are talking about using Nova on Phone, then no, it doesn't support Casting natively. You have to use either VLC or Mx for casting. I prefer transferring the file to the TV or pendrive and watch from the TV itself via Nova player, as it's more stable and provides more options than casting from phone.
