since the last few months unable to login into custom recovery mode(power+volume down button). have a pattern security code and lets me unlock the phone through just rebooting but the same valid unlock pattern won't let me in custom recovery mode. I deleted my work profile and still unable to. don't want to reset my phone..any suggestions appreciated

    regards

what do you mean by TWRP? it was all working fine until offlate since year beginning unable to login into the recovery mode power +vol down button. the same security pattern works in regular boot mode but not during recovery mode. I am sick and tired of placing service requests and those techs keeping repeating the same nonsense of turning on debug upload file and no responses after that. really frustrated and horrid.

Are you using TWRP or stock recovery?

Remove all screen locks, Pin, Facelocks, Fingerprint

Remove all Smart locks as well.

Reboot the phone first so it register no locks

Then turn it off and try to get into recovery without locks on the screen.

    If that works fine.

Then start the phone backup and setup the screen locks you want.

Restart the phone again to register the locks once more

Then power it off and see if it will allow you into the Bootloader with your new screen lock.

    See if that helps.
