I had upgraded to OOS 5.1.4 in my 5t using Oxygen updater, and when try to reinstall the OOS 5.1.4 which I had download ed from OnePlus support, the system is saying, I'm to downgrade my phone and so all user data needs to be erased. I even tried reinstalling OOS 5.1.3 but i'm getting same error.

please let me know if there is a solution.

    Thanks

not sure not what is the difference from the one I installed using Oxygen updater vs. the one in one plus support website. So I want to reinstall the one from one plus support website.

The one that you got OTA from Oneplus should be the same as the one on their website. They wouldn't send you a different one OTA.

That I don't know, maybe something to do when you try a local update.. do it from recovery instead.

when I reinstall the version that I had downloaded from one plus site and installed in my phone, it did ask me to do user data wipe for reinstallation
Whereas when try installi the version that I downloaded using Oxygen updater, it didn't ask me user data wipe and the reinstallation was smooth

I made it, and all my data were deleted. But I choose to install beta 14 with upgrade to 15 because it looks better.

so without the data getting deleted it isn't possible, and so the indian version is a downgraded version then.

Why is beta being discussed? The version of the from Oxygen Updater and the OnePlus website is the exact same. There's no need to reinstall unless you are having issues.

Open Beta firmwares are completely different.
