After moving over to OxygenOS I've had trouble with some streaming apps available in the UK, mainly BBC iPlayer, BT Sport and NOWTV.

iPlayer - Just get a black screen after selecting a show with no sound or video, just goes up to 9 seconds and crashes

BT Sport - Again I just get a black screen with no video or sound

NOWTV - Says my device is not compatible, when I used it last week using OxygenOS

I've done a factory reset to no avail. The weird this is that last night I tested all of these by connecting to Chromecast before selecting a show, and hey presto it worked! But running native on the One doesn't seem to work!! Help!

I think it's since the apps aren't Lollipop compatible (ART Compatible, in Kitkat, 4.4, it uses dalvik).

I was thinking back now and I had NOWTV working a week ago..........but it was over Chromecast so it might well be a codec error on OxygenOS then which would make sense as I know these apps work on Lollipop.

@5kedone Have you used SkyGO on Lollipop??? I'm getting a "Miracast" error on the OPO

I've un-rooted after installing Oxygen as my banking apps were kicking off a fuss so that shouldn't be a problem anymore

There are similar problems on the BBC iPlayer when streaming programmes with CM12S too. When playing streamed videos they blur like frosted glass
after about three seconds. Though you can download and play videos OK.

They work fine if you connect to Chromecast. BT Sport is now working after an update I received around an hour ago

Do you have the option to do full screen on the BT Sport app. I am using the CyanogenOS 12.1 and I installed this app yesterday and all I get is the small screen playing and no option to go fullscreen. Just the stop button and the volume button.
