    Remove any screen protector on place so that your finger is hitting the screen directly. If this works, then the screen protector is your problem.

    Once removed or If you don't have a screen protector. Clear all Screen Locks completely, Pin, Fingerprint, Pattern and Facelocks etc

    Also do a search for Biometrics as per the image below, and if its available, Clear the Biometrics Service App info Cache and App info Storage as well.

    Restart the phone and set up the Fingerprint once more.

    So what you are saying is that you have removed Screen protector and the Fingerprint now works, is that right.?

    This was posted last September when OOS 11 was the OS. If you are on OOS 12 it no longer exists.

    What's happening that you need to do this procedure.?

    Have you completely cleared all security locks on your phone, Pin, Finger, Facelocks etc. Including any locks for hidden space if used, as well
    Restart the phone and then set up the locks again.

    Check if this helps.

    If you don't see any improvement after trying the suggestion given. Please send Bug reports and give Feedback on the issue back to the OnePlus OOS developers. So that they can investigate them.
