Yussuan , via OnePlus 7 Pro , Jul 19, 2020 : Hello guys, right now im in China and I want to buy a Oneplus 8 Pro, I have been using OP devices since 6 version so I know how to change from Hydrogen to Oxygen and since im here I wanna save some bucks so my question is: if I change the ROM to Oxygen OS will I be able to unblock the frequency bands that are blocked in the chinese ROM so I can use it in other countries? The thing is that I travel a lot, thank you so much!
MuditSharm , via OnePlus 8 , Jul 21, 2020 : As far as I know, bands can't be unlocked by flashing a different software unless the device already had support for a particular band and it was blocked on the previous version via software.
