You're exactly right. I, like many of you, an accustomed to ordering a phone from my carrier, who, 9 times out of 10, will have the phone in their inventory and can send it overnight. I am as impatient and ready to just have my phone in hand as all of you.

I have the same issue, 3rd day stuck in "uncontrollable Delays" was supposed to get the phone delivered today....

Still pissed I didn't get a warning the phone would not be shipped out when they received my payment. Looked latter and realized it would be a few weeks, I think that's ridiculous that they didn't say that or even let me buy it without letting me know of a shipping delay, and at that a big delay!

I'm on the east coast of the U.S. and getting the same uncontrollable clearance delay message as everyone else now for 3 days as of 10/27. Not feeling warm and fuzzy about this. Leaving on a business trip next week and doesn't look like the phone is going to make it. Ugh!!!!

2 lessons i learned from this whole One Plus 3 oder
    1) If you can't deal with shit like this, stick with $700+ Flagship phones
    2) If for any reason i decide to buy One Plus again, it would to be a to 3rd Party on Amazon or something and to be sure it's not being shipped out of China.

    This is such B.S.

On the one hand - @Marcelief makes a good point - the click-to-unboxing experience needs to be improved.

On the other hand, OnePlus is a new company that is still feeling it's growing pains. I am guessing part of the reason that they went with the invite system for the OPO and OP2 was because they knew their production and logistics capacity was limited.

Another problem - almost all of us here on this thread, made our orders during the last week of September/First week or two of October, what happened during that timeframe:

    - First week in October is a Chinese Holiday
    - Google disappointed a lot of us by premium pricing the Pixel AND not dropping prices on the Nexus 6P
    - Samsung Note 7's kept exploding all over the world.

They are probably overwhelmed with demand right now. I am willing to wait, and to see how the phone works, before I decide if I am willing to go back to paying $700 for a flagship or $400 for a refurbished last year's model.

I also think we're spoiled by Amazon - seeing that I can get any one of millions of products delivered in 48 hours for no additional cost.

I just wish someone would give me a clear ETA

This right here. I have no issues waiting. I have no issues if OnePlus slightly misses the estimated delivery date. But right now, we're in the dark. We don't know if this delay will be a couple days or a couple weeks. It's always better to keep the customer over-informed than under-informed, even if you're informing them with "we're looking into it, stay posted."

Same here... ordered October 16th, oneplus said my OP3 was due to ship November 1st, so I was pleasantly surprised when I got my shipping notification two days ago. Then this happened... still one plus said estimated delivery was November 7, so even if this takes a week they're still keeping up their promise. Seems to me they expected delays like this and factored that into their estimates.

I think a lot of my frustration comes from being left in the dark.

TBH, a lot of my general frustration isn't even OnePlus's fault. i've just been a on a roller coaster of phone bullshit for two months now and i just want it to be over :(

Same boat as the rest of ya..

OP estimated delivery on 10-28, DHL estimated 10/26. I think both will be wrong.
Contacted Support and they say they will look into it, same as everyone else.

I'm not worried, we'll all get our shiny new phones soon enough.

Having the same issue here. Ordered on Oct. 14th. Like others have mentioned it would be nice to have some kind of a heads up on what's going on.

I know. I finally pulled the trigger and bought one. I had heard how speedy shipping was for some. Our order would be the one delayed.
