I have recently upgraded from 5t to 7t pro.
i am very happy with the functioning of my new 7t pro. But i can feel a lot of heat on the backside of my device upon using it for long tym. i never had it on my 5t.

I know that oneplus devices are not meant to get heated like this. I hope you people at one plus will solve this issue.

Tomorrow is battery fix day, but a week or so ago I had about 30 apps to be updated and since then my 5G is going all day on a charge.

Having initially been disappointed with the battery when I got my 7T Pro a few days ago with only around 2 hours of screen on time before having to put on charge, I have now got 27 hours use, with a screen on time of 6 hours and 58 minutes. I'm going to put on charge now but it would probably last a few hours yet.

    I've taken a screen shot - https://imgur.com/yT8RECi

The changes I made were in the location settings, where I noticed that nearly every app on the phone had access to location all of the time so I changed all but two of these to to only allow access while in use and this seems to have made a significant difference.

I have the display brightness at 50%, the screen refresh rate at 90Hz and the resolution on auto. I have been using the phone a lot more than I normally would while I am on holiday from work, along with the initial setting up, I've mainly been using it for browsing, social media, music as well as the camera. So far very impressed.

that's pretty impressive. I just checked my location apps and I did have quite a few that shouldn't have location access all the time so I modified those. let's see if that helps. I don't think there's an update today. I mean how many people can have this phone?? lol

what a serious issue with the flagship mobile of the company. I have switched from 5t to 7tpro and how worse is my experience is that, i had to charge my phone 2 to 3 times in 24hrs to get my things done. And the most amazing part is that, the mobile never stay in normal temperature.
    start charging the phone,gets heated...
start using it for more than 15 mins, gets heated..
use gps, and a couple of bluetooth devices, gets heated.
We can feel this heat even when having the cover on.

All these days I have been prowdly saying to all my friends and community about my Oneplus Devices. Infact now all my family mems are using Oneplus devices. We dont use any other phone anymore.

Oneplus......Dont make me switch to something else.

Hoping for an outstanding update to solve all these issues ASAP.......

I tried lowering refresh rate to 60h and wiping cache for battery improvement but honestly I think it was adjusting the refresh rate that made a difference for me anyhoos. Its acting more like the 6tMc now- ,

I really don't think that is it, the phone literally has only been out a month it does take time to make updates. we do have to try and be a little patient. I don't think T-Mobile has gone to where it is or OnePlus has gone to where it is by not caring. my bright life actually has been pretty decent lately if I did the location fixes. I still have it on full high-definition plus not quad. but I've been using 90 Hertz and RAM boost. and I've been doing pretty decent right now. I did do a chassis partition wipe. OnePlus has promised to give monthly security patches. and delivered on that. when I talk to T-Mobile they said the same thing that they are delivering on the monthly patches. it's just not going to be as fast as Google is. this is my first OnePlus phone and I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. is always good to keep calling T-Mobile and or OnePlus.
