Lol, this could be the most useless sinkhole thread I have ever read, 740+ posts. Is there anything useful in here? Or should I just bin the 7t pro and go get another phone?

try enabling developer mode : settings > about phone > click on android version 7 times.
then go to settings > system > developer option > apps select these options from there, these may help "Don't keep activities" (checked), Background process limit (1 or 2 may be), my assumption is the background process runs and drains the battery.

also in settings > system > developer option > Networking > enable "Wifi scan throttling" disable "Tethering hardware acceleration" and disable "Mobile data always active"

maybe these two will help the issue, but still Oneplus needs to pay some attention to their battery.

I recently updated mt 7t pro to OxygenOs 11 and had 0 problems. Until 3 days ago when the battery of my phone has been dropping drastically in comparison to before. My phone went from 6-7 SOT to 3-3,5 SOT, with my same usual consumption. It's really getting on my nerves. Can't even get to the evening without having to fill it up again for the last 4 days.

I've checked my apps, updated them all, made sure I'm on thr latest OS update and even restarted the phone a couple of times. Nothing seems to solve the problem.

Please let me know how to get rid of the problem.
I need your feedback so bad 🙏🙏

Yeah I know. But the thing is I upgraded to 11 like over a month ago and everything was fine and I had no problems. They appeared only 3 days ago

I can understand.. Some users are facing problems immediately and some are facing it later.. But it's only happening on Android 11.

Even i faced the issue after couple of weeks on my new device.. Fixed by getting back to 10

    No we aren't.

Sounds like it's an app gone rogue, I'd visit the pinned battery threads for some pointers on identifying the app and dealing with it.

He can try running BBS to determine the app's going rouge.. This can be done by full charge your device and let BBS running until your battery drops below 15%

    1. Download the Oxygen OS build OTA for your phone either from Oneplus support page or xda - 10 latest is recommended but if you prefer any other.. No problem. Just make sure it is a full build.
    2. Place the OTA into your root folder of your device.
    3. Charge your phone, at least keep the battery above 70%
    4. Go to settings --> System --> System updates --> Gear setting --> local updates, select the OTA file to manually update.
    4. Press start and wait to finish! And reboot

Caution - Downgrading formats your phone, so make sure you take a backup of your data before downgrading.
