I think I would do at least one exchange and maybe is a defective battery on mine. but it doesn't make me hopeful since you did three. definitely hoping they come out with a update the next couple weeks that will throw you can help the battery.

Try to replace it before ur 14 day return ends or else they will charge you restocking fee. i gave up on making another return, ill just wait til they release a fix or upgrade to a different phone. good luck my friend hope u get a better one.

unfortunately I was not able to exchange it before my 14-day as you have to go to the original store that you got from. but I did call T-Mobile customer service and instead of the 14-day they can do a defective return normally you get a refurbished phone but since it's so new most likely there are no refurbished phones and it just be a new one sent out. I'm going to call when I have time. though my battery life has been getting better. I done some research though it seems Android 10 has some battery issues in general. I have a game roughly about 16 hours in about 2 hours screen on time. That's a lot less than I did on Android 9. on my Sony xz-2 where I got at least four to five hours being on time in about eighteen hours. so I may wait to see if they do a software face with December security update hopefully in early January.

My first full day with the phone, I drained to about 30% remaining in 6 hours. I took it to T-Mobile, and they pretty much told me that was a normal amount of drain, even though my 6T never drained down to less than 60-70% in the same amount of time doing the same amount of work. The OnePlus salesperson in the store pretty much said my only option was to warranty it out, but to give it some time.

Over the last few days, the battery drain has gotten much, much better. It's still a worse battery life than my 6T, but way more manageable than the first day.

Newly one plus 7t pro. Within 1 week I realize the battery died next morning . I'm definitely sure I saw 57% before I went to bed. What's the sense having a phone that fastly charge but dies just as fast. I needed the 5G s capability because I work underground. But the 5G was dead.

    Hi,

Let me point out that 7T Pro doesnt have OOS 10.0.4 on that site which you linked. It shows 10.0.3.HD01.
So i have no idea where did you get that 10.0.4.

Unfortunately, you are wrong about it. OnePlus 7T Pro has 10.0.4 after which version 10.3.0 came (10.0.5 for EU). There is a whole thread about this update which you can refer: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oxygenos-10-0-4-for-oneplus-7t-pro.1139808

You can download the full roms for version 10.0.4 from the following locations:
    1. There is a post in the thread mentioned above which has official download links for full roms for all regions. Here it is: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oxygenos-10-0-4-for-oneplus-7t-pro.1139808/page-14#post-21052265
    2. The official software download site: https://www.oneplus.in/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=PM1574162297465 (India) Although it shows 10.0.3 in the website, if you download and install it in your phone, the version will be 10.0.4. Typo in the website. Please note that the link that i've posted is for India region. Please select your region appropriately before downloading and installing the rom.
Also for your reference the next version after 10.0.4 (i.e. 10.3.0 / 10.0.5 for EU) is out and you may follow the thread: https://forums.oneplus.com/threads/oxygenos-10-0-5-for-oneplus-7t-pro-10-3-0-in-india.1153349

    Hope it helps.

I've switched over to 4Glte and my location works perfectly. if I have 5g enabled, my GPS doesn't work correctly at all. OnePlus definitely knows about this problem and needs to fix it.

After the usual fluff about choosing T-Moble and restating the problem I'm having with the battery life on the McLaren, T-Mobile rep stated today (12/27/19):

Now, I do know that this is a known issue that OnePlus is working to resolve at this time. We have our equipment liaison in contact with them and are working hard to come to a resolution.

One plus has notified us that the workaround to save battery life is to turn on the power saver settings and to switch to 4G periodically.

The great news is that a fix is coming in the next software update which is set to release on January 2nd!

I'm always wary on software updates fixing everything - but do like that there is a date involved in the commitment,as opposed to "January" or "Q1"

Hello Guys! Happy holidays and a great New Year ahead.

After incorporating the fix for battery drain (mentioned in my previous post here) I am getting outstanding battery life. I could go for three days without having to charge my phone with a moderate screen on time of 3 hours and 39 mins. And I am still at 11% of the battery. This is after I charged my phone to 100% and with very light everyday usage. Also to mention, I even had the mobile hotspot enabled with two of my other phones connecting to it from time to time.

I am so glad that it helped me out of a situation where I was so unhappy with my decision of purchasing the OP7T Pro McLaren. There were many minor issues and especially the battery drain issue was a huge let down. But now after the fix, I am totally in love with this device. Many of the minor issues that I've been experiencing with my device were gone too like a whole lot of issues with camera, apps crashing, screen lags, screen stuttering, wifi related issues and many more... All gone! Trust me its worth the try:

    This may be helpful.

Hey Folks! We are aware of the GPS issue and have a fix tentatively rolling out in the second week of January.

As for the other 5G issues, we greatly appreciate you bearing with us here in the early days of 5G. Please do contact our over the phone specialists so that engineering tickets can be opened and investigated.

is this from OnePlus, if so what about the battery and why do we need to call about the 5G battery drain? I'm glad they are fixing the GPS issue.
