Detaching charger yesterday night and having enough juice for the rest of the next night!

    What?
On the pictures it looks like your heading towards 5 - 5.5 hours SOT.

I have noticed that ever since 10.6 update there has been severe battery drain issues, both screen on and standy. I first attributed it to Whatsapp because it took up 50 percent of my battery in one night and uninstalled it. I switched to Telegram and the problem resurfaced. When I am not using any chat based apps, the battey works fine again giving me one full day of usage. The moment I try to chat, it comes up again. Going to try and reset my phone.

It seems like that but by the time it reaches 4 hours, the battery is already down to <15% and I could have kind of understood if I was on 90hz but this stats are when I'm on 60Hz.

I never play games on my Phone and use FB maybe 15 min/day...I always close down apps which are not in use. 90 Hz screen is always on, don't want to turn it down. Honestly I thought battery time would be much better, heck even my. iPhone X from early 2018 had battery life.

Can I please know if this is GOOD or BAD battery life I'm getting on my 7T? Or whether it is fine or I have a LEMON on my hands?

I've seen people getting about EIGHT HOURS SCREEN ON TIME with their 7T despite basically 1 full day of use; i've topped out at about 7 hours SOT but I only really get 4-5 hours in typical use. It's so unfair!

    Hello Team,

My battery backup on my 2+months old 7t is very average and barely goes for a day. I get 4hrs to 4hrs 30min max screen on time for a day. This is after running on 60htz and with all updates. I have this phone for more than 2 months, so phone should have learned my usage by now.

If i dont use my phone for social apps, videos, camera etc, i will reach my day end with 60% battery, but with even normal usage, my phone goes to 5% and below before the end of the day or evening sometimes. Battery charges pretty quick with Warp charge but whats the point if the battery doesnt last even for a day.

I have attached the screenshots for the battery status.

Battery optimization is on and everything is set to intelligent control

I am pretty average user and dont play any games or use my phone heavily. Camera clicks, social apps, music, videos, other daily apps, calls are my phone usage.

I have used oneplus 5 and my friends have been using 5t,6t, battery has been good on all the devices.

Please help, battery is the only reason making me hate this phone, while everything is good. I have to switch to another phone if the battery stays this way.

Then stop killing your apps. You're making your battery life worse.

7T gives on an average 6 hrs SOT, while my RNs infinix S5, a 150 $/ gives 10-11 hrs SOT on a 4,000 mah... With low grade hardware, CPU, GPU 4 gigs of RAM and a bloated stock ROM?

Any ideas why 7T with top hardware gives half the SOT?

    Thanks!

Which car do you think that will spend more gasoline? A Ferrari 812 Super fast or a fiat 500?

    Ofcourse a Ferrari.
But I assumed that a 855 CPU, Adrenal 640, Andriod Pure ROM, 8 gigs would consume lesser batt drain along with performance...

Huawei series P30, Mate20/30 Pro/ 5G are far more batt efficient and have equivalent if not faster than 7Ts hardware...
