Hello I'm surprised but with manually enabled battery saver result is the same over 1.1% / h and over 11 % in almost 10 hours.

That's interesting. Does the phone do the same with a fresh install? Either you kill all background apps with the app info screen for every app, or do a factory reset and check that way.

I would rule out the rouge app eating the battery...

Hard to say I think it was better before something around 3% per night.
Tell me why BetterBatterStats does not show what is causing issue? This is crazy.
Look at sensors how it's possible 19 hours and what is that process ( 9:49 time since disconnected )? Also why Netflix and Google Play use sensors?

Sheppards is there any way to force stop all apps - not one by one? I did it manually but it's lot of work...

UPDATE: I've attached second screenshot with details of that Sensors with interesting pickup / pocket name. I've also disabled AOD ( lift ) now and lift up for answer the phone or turn screen down to reject call.

It's normal for a cell phone to become hot as like any other electronic device it's internals will heat up and there's not much to cool them off.

There fans on a computer for a reason, but unfortunately a phone can't have them.

You can try adjusting your phone settings, game settings and not use it for such a long period big time.

Also make sure no apps are over using the CPU.

To reduce heat?? It doesn't matter what phone you own, they all produce some heat and the more powerful your phone is the more the heat that needs to be transfered.

If your phone is using a lot of the CPU/GPUfor whatever reason, expect a lot of heat.

Success! I got tonight 2% per 10 hours so it's around 0.2%/h. Earlier battery usage has to be related to AOD/pickup sensor. Now I wonder if this is normal ( ~1.1%/h ) or this is issue with my phone, because AOD was enabled all time and I had good battery drops earlier. Total drop is 8% ( from 93% ) in 17 hours but phone was used before night, when I was going sleep it was 87%.

AOD? IS this a 3rd party app? The 7 doesn't have it by default

Battery drains quite early even after very less use or sometimes when phone is just on rest... The moment I open any app and start browsing there's a drop in battery like very immediately...

7T and sorry of course I wrote wrong name i meant Ambient Display - this is that notification screen with time when You lift up device. So far is great 2 days on battery ( currently 70% ) - 6 days ETA and average power consumption 0.5% per hour, at night 0.2% per hour.

    I'm using OnePlus 7th 8gb and 256gb variant since 1st Jan,2020.

in initial days I was quite happy about this device regarding looks camera and mostly for battery back-up

it's almost 4moths after I'm facing huge issue in battery backup.

in a day where as I had to charge only once but now days I have charge it twice .

I was in touch with OnePlus whatsapp assistance and they have guided me very well but the problem is remain same.

    kindly advise.

    Good morning community!
I have a simmilar problem to report. Since the last 4 battery charges (charging in the late evenings to 100%) the device looses about 15% battery while beeing in aeroplane mode overnight without any usage after unplugging from the charger. The amount of lost energy is not displayed in the battery consumption at all.
Does anyone around experienced the same issue? Is this probably a software topic? As the device is in use since ~6month (and I am clearly not a power user - I usually go like 6 days) this should not be a battery hardware problem itself I guess.
    Really thankful for any feedback!
