I didn't face any heating issues but the battery drain seem to be a bit high. It reduced from 98% to 68% after taking few calls for 1hr & after that I played PubG for 30mins. Is this normal?? pls let me know & thanks in advance [e]1f60a[/e]

    Hey Guys ,

It has been four months since I'm using my One Plus 7T.

I use the dark mode, no ambient display, battery optimized all the apps and screen display of 60 HZ so that I could save as much battery.

Recently in August I have charged my battery twice this month to 100% in aeroplane mode. After unplugging from socket and leaving the phone for about 30 minutes I notice the battery percentage falling at 97% without even using the phone and to remind you the phone was still in aeroplane mode so there will not be much battery drain while searching for wifi or other mobile networks.

FYI, I'm not a excessive gamer nor I have used it heavily for videos or pictures editing.

Is anyone facing similar issues? Where has the 3% been eaten up? The battery from the 97% seems fine with no excessive heating nor any quicker drains from there. I have also taken the screenshot after 30 mins from full charge.

there are thousands of complaints of battery drain but one plus is not giving solution
I think that more money means less battery backup!!
they will not improve battery but rather tell you switch of this that
hope quickly alll will get solution for battery drain...

I have been experiencing the heating issue since March. My phone gets heated while using normal social media apps. I have shown this to Vytilla Authorised service centre. They told me to change the sim. They were not sure about the issue. I have done phone Hard-reset, software change and everything I could do including cache clearing. But still, I face the issue of heating and in some areas the battery also drain so fast. The upper part of the screen gets warmer after using it for few minutes therefore it can be felt so much while having a call.

Ever since new, my OnePlus 7T would overheat occasionally and the battery started draining.
However, in the last few weeks, it seems to be happening more often, about every other day.
Fortunately, it is in my pocket, so I can feel it. I usually restart the phone.
It doesn't seem to be any app, in particular, causing the problem.
    Any tips or cures?

Hey guys, interesting fact I have a 7 pro for more than a month, I've let the phone make its updates it needed and when ime playing certain games in like 15 min I can feel the screen really heating up, back not so cause ime using the case from the pack. Must say that I've played the same games installed from the same source on my old Samsung Galaxy S7 and had no such probs. For internet I use my home Wi-Fi. Is there a fix to this or is a certain lot produced with some technical problems?

the latest update seems to be the culprit, in india it was released as 10.3.4.HD65AA, this update was for correcting the tap to wake lock screen, and bought new clock styles, I don't know the update version out of india, try reverting to the previous version

That's by design as the heat from the internals is transfered to the screen and the screen is made of glass, which can get hot.

I am a One Plus 7T user from November.
The phone is extremely heating as I turn on my FNATIC mode for gameplay, my 100% battery drains in just 5-6 games of PUBG, even it is drastically dropping on basic use also. The speed of the charging has also decreased as it takes around 1 hour 10 mins to charge at full. Below I have also attached a picture on which you can see at 56% battery saver is just providing 2 hours of back up. Please look into it. Also my phone is also lagging a lot.

SOMETHING NOT EXPECTED FROM ONE PLUS. Please help me get some awnsers to this [e]1f64f[/e]
