I am facing severe battery draining issue. With moderate use it hardly lasts for 7 hrs. I have even tried switching 60hz screen but still battery drains with same speed. Its been only 2 months since I have purchased this device and I have to charge it twice. Meanwhile I am writing this post my drained 2% withing 5 mins.

Try to Optimize the phone, this helps with Lag, Heat, Battery Drain and much more.

Clear your recent apps, also set 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 2 to 3 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

Have come across that a few times.

When I find it is, I always clear the Google Play Store App info Cache and App info Storage as well.

I also clear the Google Play Services App info Cache and App info Storage as well.

    Then restart the phone

    This usually fixes the issue

If not, then I update to both their latest version of each of those apps from Apk mirror. Just make sure you select the right one. Always chose the right version.

    Arch must be Arm 64 - v8a + Armeabi v7a and nodpi.

Once downloaded this is what you will see

Once installed clear their App info Cache and App info Storage as well again after each install

    Then restart the phone again.

These services are constantly updated in the background, but can take a few days from date of release.

Once you have updated and cleared cache on both items and restarted the phone, the Playstore and Play Services will be working in the background for a while.

Give it a full charge cycle or 2. And see if it improves.

Usually, play store does run in background unless you restrict it. If you be more specific regarding your issue maybe I could help you.

we are facing severe battery drain by Google Play store application since last few days...
without using play store to update any application or without even opening playstore it drains battery.
The screenshot is attached, where it is used for 1 minuite only and it drained 9 percentage battery in last 9 hour
cleared all data and cache of playstore but no solution...

Hmm. In my opinion, Most play store background processes are more likely to happen when you turn on mobile data. Try turning off mobile data when you're not using the phone. If you're already done that, it may be the problem with the new update as you told above. So, my advice to you will be to wait for the new update or downgrade the play store to the earlier version.

Edit : I have saw some users who owns OnePlus 7t also having this problem so something is wrong somewhere. I can't give a out a proper solution for this.
