    Somewhat disappointed with the battery on my 8T as well. While I do get 5 to 6 hours of SOT with what I consider to be light usage (no games, mostly browsing, Reddit, Imgur, some messaging), I feel like the battery drains a lot when in idle for some reason. I charged it last night, used it a bit until 97% and when I woke up in the morning it had lost around 12% while sitting on my stand.

    I'll try to disable some apps that I do not use, but hopefully there's some update that will improve the battery life.

    Hello I am on latest OS 11.0.5.6 I noticed My battery is draining so fast even on 60Hz & always screen off. Anybody facing same issue?

    Yes, there's definitely some draining going on for my device as well, especially while on idle. Also on the same build.

    I was also facing the same issue but after the hard reset it's all gone....battery drian during the whole night is only 2-3% for me....Try hard reset and you will see a major difference...try it once

    I spent a handful of hours in the first days of owning my device setting up my applications, which will be lost on a hard reset. I assume the battery draining happens after the latest update, I've only owned this device for a week now and it's a bit hard to tell, but I am hoping for a solution that is not as drastic as hard resetting and losing data.

    I have not had that happen to me before but I would say that after gaming there is a possibility of having a phone to heat up a bit especially when the screen display is high and apps running on the background, bluetooth is enabled it is best to consider your settings...best wishes.

    Happens on my phone all the time and Saw this on the other 8 series forums and 7t that the Bluetooth scanning option under location turns on automatically on lock/unlocking phone after android 11 roll out for them

    Does this cause battery drain ?
