Is it better to charge the device to 80% twice in a day, or to fully charge trice in 2 days (1.5 times a day) Only charging to 80% will increase the charge cycles so isn't it just better to fully charge it and utilise the battery?

I still don't understand why Ambient temperature is brought into play. What's that supposed to mean? Does it mean that in places where temperature is high one plus phones can't be used.??

So you intend to say that one shouldn't use phone for video shooting/gaming/ or any other tasks and limit to calling and messaging only..? Then why one plus phones cost this much dude????

Every phone is heating issue. But solutions depends on the uses. So be prepared use of your mobile properly. And charging proper in a proper way.
Don't full charged ur phone, don't charge ur phone when it's 40 % )or 80%. When battery show down below 15% then charge.
You will found that your battery doing a great work for long lasting.
And one more thing that always use original chargers of the company.

Below 1% per hour is acceptable. As stated above, even though phone is idle, if you have two SIM Cards running & WiFi or Bluetooth on & connected, these networks will continue to draw & drain power to keep on running.

If mobile / WiFi signal is weak, phone will work harder to keep it active & consume more n more battery.

Many of the apps installed will start their background sync in night hours by default to backup data / sync or updates, specially play store !!

Those downloading / syncing & installing activities too consume battery.

In my 8T, I have two VoLTE SIM cards running & my 8T stays connected to my home WiFi always. My idle drainage vary between 0.4-1.6% !! Usually it's around 0.4-0.6% per hour.

You can use one interesting app called AccuBattery to view some interesting battery related stats & data.

Here is mine, from last night. Once I plug in the charger, it will reset for next session

One can compare different phones stats like that you may see more or less industry leading Android phones will be around that 0.5-1% per hour. That's pretty normal.

It will vary, some days it may be more due to network usage or those background stuff.
