    So what's your conclusion?

SoT depends on YOUR usage and has no meaning at all!

Please don't ask me what my SoT is: I don't know and don't give a damn!

In usage you should also consider single vs dual sim, signal strength ....

Too many factors to get a nice distribution.

Hi everyone. I've had the OnePlus 8T for a month now, and throughout the first month charging from 20% to 100% always took 32 minutes normally. It's been a few weeks that it's been showing me 32 minutes at 20% however it slowly increases by 2 minutes at a time bringing the full charge in 42/44 minutes. Any ideas?

SOT almost 8 hours. No AOD. 120hz/Vivid. Almost 7 hours of YouTube TV 720p. Mostly Airplane mode with WiFi streaming/calling/texting. A little 5G/4G. All notifications off. All my non stock apps optimized instead of intelligent control. Screen brightness set to auto. Turned off haptic. And using a dark wall paper. Final usage details. Battery seems to be functioning well. SOT 9 hours with 21% battery remaining. Manual notifications helps a lot and disabling stock apps that I never use like YouTube music and Google TV. I didn't change 120hz refresh rate or change from Vivid. I never turned on battery saver. I usually get 22 hours total with 7 hours SOT. In this test I just ran it constantly. More SOT by a couple of hours, less total by 10 hours. Conclusion: Battery should get by the day easily whether you run it hard or normal. I didn't play any games but I did have YouTube TV going for Almost 7 hours at 720p. I charge my battery to 100% and recharge it before it goes below 20%. Hope this helps some people out who are having issues. By the way, Accubattery application is a joke. It estimated my battery at 50% of it's designed health. I can't imagine getting 18 hours of SOT in 24 hour period under same conditions. Besides those types of apps running in the background will drain your battery significantly. I Have McAfee security by T-Mobile running constantly in the background but that's it. You've been guided. 😁

I forgot to mention that I disabled SIM 2. Although I have two SIM cards in my phone I only have one that is active. That could make a difference too. SIM 1 I turned off roaming. I left 5G enabled.

My phone runs perfectly fine upto 10 % of the battery
But after reaching to 8 % , it automatically turned off or switched off
I am in trouble due to this battery issues
Is this due to problem in battery or not??

8T has 2 batteries. So when you reach 8%, that means each battery has 4% left which is very low. That's probably the reason the phone shuts down for you.
I'd suggest you to not let the phone get below 15% if you want a long and healthy battery life.

Just to be sure, can we use 5w normal charger on 8t to secure battery life (atleast when at home)?
