I can't copy obb files to the obb folder. I recently download a game with its obb file but I can't copy it into the obb folder. Everytime I try to do it it shows me parameters not available. Can someone help me with this? I use a OnePlus 9 pro and my os version is 11.2.4.4

Great. What file manager did you try with before? Some file managers has issues with some folders due to new permissions in Android 11. But this one asks and demands for all the right permissions when necessary.

There were certain restrictions made in Android 11. Before real support for Android 11 came in CX File Explorer Android/Data and Android/OBB was inaccessible due to lacking permissions.

    Hello!

After April's Android 11 update I've lost the ability to get access to /Android/data/ folder.

The thing is, all my music is cached from the Internet and stored in the folder, which is in Android/data/.../Music path. And I use a side music player to listen to it.

With Android 11 update the player can not see my music in /Android/data/.../Music folder anymore. The player's audio track scanner just can't see the data folder itself inside Android folder.

It had been absolutely okay with Android 10, and now it's all ruined, and I can't listen to my music anymore.

    This is frustrating.
Is there anything I could do?

In Android 11, data folder is not accessible to 3rd party apps. Unless your music player uses a workaround that some file manager apps use to get access to that folder, you have to use one of these file managers to play your music.

Quite drastic lol. You could simply copy everything from there into another folder 🤷‍♂️

Huh, I simply don't have enough memory to store dublicate copy of my music collection. And I can't delete the original cached pack. Let alone keeping two copies of a Music pack is just... Not wise. And I would have to copy it manually each time I get new track.

Which app cached the music files? Every app has access to its own folder inside the data folder. You should be able to play your music using the same app that cached your music in that folder.

The restriction is for your own security. On an iPhone, you will see that the restrictions are atleast 10 times more, severely limiting your flexibility.

A cloud storage app caches my music. It cannot play it.

My security was absolutely fine a few days ago. Now I'm deprived of my music. Very wise move. Now I can't go back to Android 10 without wiping all my data?

You have to wipe data to go back. But you can backup your files before wiping the storage.
