    What's app is now draining a lot of battery. There seems to be issue with One plus 7 beta updates. After every few days, any app starts consuming battery like hell. Pls see.

    I am using one plus 7 for the last one year and , one of the positive side of this device that I felt was the dash charging. on the last month it had a display issue and for one month it's not in use(it took one month to get repaired). 2 week after servicing, i got the update notification of 10.3.3, and I have done it. but after the update, I terribly feel that the dash charging is not working properly, especially after 80%. I came to know that it's supposed to do so in dash charging. But I'm still confused, because the problem started couple of days before only.

    and also I have heard two opinion about charging, former is don't charge above 80% while latter is charge upto 100 on overnight.

    please help me to clarify this

    My Oneplus 7 Battery is acting up
    just with Average usage of Whatsapp and Ludo King, the battery is getting drained drastically and the stand by is also being mediocre.
    The battery drained from 21% to 13% within 20 mins or so. All these 20mins the only app under use was Whatsapp for texting .

    The Device is getting warmer too.
    Do you guys think the coming update would fix it ?

    Whatsapp is consuming battery like hell on Oneplus 7, recently from few days facing this issue and battery drain is fast after the 10.0.3 upgrade.

    Charge is draining too much fast. With 100% charge, average screen usage is Between 3.5 hours to 4. But before, average screen usage time was Between 6 to 7 hours.
    What's the issue?

    Hi,

    since last update I am facing severe battery drain on my Oneplus with moderate usage. Also phone getting heated up near ear speaker which makes difficult to take calls for longer time.

    Hope you guys fix this ASAP.

    10.3.3 stable to be precise. Today got 10.3.4 stable update and updated to same. Still the issue persists.

    As with every update, you will see a spike in battery usage; this is completely normal and easily remedied by simply charging your phone overnight. No need to downgrade or feel like the update "ruined your phone", this happens literally every time yet people seem to forget.
