Stickied Post
Hello Peeps,
Welcome to August! We are now inching closer to October or should I say TechTober?
The October of 2018 was buzzing with innovation and tons of new products! I hope for an even better October this time, afterall competition is what pushes OEM's to makes products better for us!
After October comes November, (Yes, ofcourse you know that) and in the second half of November OnePlus might launch its next flagship ( That's what has been happening ever since the Oneplus 3T)
Leaks have started to flow already! But the sheer resemblance with the OnePlus 7Pro had me thinking are we even looking at the right thing?
This thread will be regularly updated with leaks, rumours and information as and when it happens.
Feel free to discuss, post images and information about the upcoming 7T Pro ( I guess that's what they are going to call it) would be great if you linked your source as well.
So the first question,
Do you think that OnePlus 7T Pro is actually happening? If yes are the pictures doing rounds on social media credible?
Do let us know in this thread.
Let the speculations begin!
Cheers
From leak's land:
[09/08/2019] Alleged images of the OnePlus 7T Pro in a protective case.
The phone's design looks very similar to the OnePlus 7Pro, with a slightly larger speaker grille. Shown below is what seems to be a nebula blue variant (Which debuted with the 7Pro) of the OnePlus 7T pro, rumour has it that the 7T Pro will sport an upgraded Snapdragon 855+ chipset and an upgraded camera.

Update [11/09/2019] : We have a tentative date!
Tipster Max J. / @Samsung_News_ on twitter suggests that the 7T Pro could be launched on 15th of October 2019!
Roughly 2 months to go.
What do you think? Excited?
[UPDATE 12/08/2019]
After seeing the device in full from the front and partially from the back, things heated up to the point that we even had a tentative date of the phone launching, i.e., 15th October 2019
Unfortunately, none of it is true!
A recent article from tech radar confirms that the 7TPro will NOT launch on the 15th October 2019.
A source close to the matter has confirmed this to Tech Radar.
But Tech radar could not get an approximate date on when OnePlus might launch the successor to the 7 Pro either, instead in the article TR expresses uncertainty on OnePlus's plans to launch the 7TPro.
We have already seen a couple alleged pictures of the 7TPro and it is evident that on the hardware front nothing had changed, except for the speaker grille which looks slightly bigger.
What do you think?
Will OnePlus scrap the T model this time around?
//UPDATE 18/08/2019//
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau / @Pete in an interview with The Financial Times has confirmed that a globally available 5G phone will be available before the end of the year.
Maybe this is what will be the alleged OnePlus 7TPro.
Looks like the OnePlus 7 will not get an refresh this time around. Or maybe the two lineups will be merged into one!
Time will tell. Till then keep speculating

Nokia 8 and Nokia 9 can also do this, it's done with software... It does not require specific hardware
EDIT: Misunderstood your question
