That notification is telling you that optimised charging is on and working. You can tap charge now and it will override it.

It's basically charging your phone slowly so that it's ready for you when you need it when you wake up in the morning

Optimise battery charging is a good option, if you charge your phone overnight phone battery was damaged, optimise battery charging save for help Power phone battery.

You can turn it off if you want in the battery section in the settings
It helps your phone to charge optimisely

Does it though? The phones and the chargers are very smart. Once you hit 100%, the charging is more or less cut (speeds axed). Yes the phone will lose charge and the charger will charge it back up again, which does age the battery somewhat, but with most people on 2 year life cycles, it's not going to be a major issue imo.

Don't think I agree with you, it's a really hit and miss feature as far as I've seen/experienced

Where did you get this nonsense. Have a 6T as well as the 9 Pro, always charge the 6T overnight, have done for over 2 and half years, Phone works fine. Charging overnight does NOT damage a battery or phone., 🤷‍♂️

I am experiencing increased battery drain through the messages app. I didn't use the app to send messages, just received some messages.

I have tried by clearing cache and app data but still no use.

There is an issue with the new features in the Google messaging app. Turn off Message Organisation in the Messages Settings, reboot the phone and see if that helps.

If it doesn't, backup your Messages and uninstall the Messages version you currently have installed,
Go to Messages App info, click on the 3 dot menu top right and uninstall Updates. Again reboot the phone and see if this can help further.

I made a replacement about the heating issues I got a new phone but still have heating when I'm playing league of legends at 120fps or when I'm recording 4k and when I'm downloading some files the temp goes at 43°c or 44°c hope for a update fix for this, a flagship that can't even play demand tasks....

Even my phone was staying at that temperature, I just chose to wait for the android 12 update. But the last update lowered the temperatures a bit. Will wait for the Android 12 update, if that does not solve the issue, I'll also ask for replacement. I'd suggest you to wait for the next update before going through the replacement and help cycle again. I am just waiting because i Don't want to go through the hassle of taking and restoring backups because the first thing they do is factory reset.

The OnePlus 9 is such a great phone, but I've been having some problems with it. It keeps turning off for no reason and the battery life has gotten really bad too..
