Use optimized charging most of time except now since it's broken in 12 beta.
Charge nightly most days since it's basically strait to the car the morning shift and eat breakfast at work. No time to charge then.

Is there anyway to set the time duration at night like from 23:00 to 7:00 it will charge hence at 7 we get 100% battery with slow charge acc to time duration 🧐

    Hi,

After updating my OnePlus 9 Pro to OxygenOS 11.2.9.9, I'm facing a lot of overheating issues which result in very fast battery drain.

Earlier I was able to get a full day's use from a 100% charge but now with the same usage I can get a maximum of a few hours.

Is anyone else experiencing the same or similar issue?

Good evening all, Just got a OnePlus 9 Pro 128GB. Straight away updated to OOS 11.2.9.9.LE15BA and my battery drain is insane. 8 Hours after a full charge with 2hrs, 28mins screen on time I was left with 20% (with battery saver auto kicking in at 25%) are there any fixes anyone can think of? I bought the phone second hand barely used and there are no faults with the phone whatsoever and im just not sure what to do. Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Max.

If it's straight after an update, wait a cycle or 3 to judge. If it continues start it with a factory reset. Maybe since it's still new (to you)

With 40 min of call of duty maxed out 60 % brightness... It is much more than my previous s20 ultra i didnt had the time to spend all the day straight on the phone but i think i can get easely more than 7h and 8h with a regular use

I'm definitely not a fanboy, i just simply thought that a positive reeport could have been good in this topic.
I'm very happy with this phone and simply don't understand these negative comments.
I had samsung phones since around 2013, Galaxy S4, S5, S7 Edge, S8+, S9+, S10+, Note 20 Ultra most recently and i can say that this phone is not overheating. Actually it's cooler than any of my previous phones, and it's simply great that it's very cool during charging too. No noticeable or mentionable heat at all. About the battery life. None of my mentioned Samsung flagship phones were this good at the end of a day so i don't think that there is anything fundamentally wrong with this phone or the S888. I'm not a big gamer on phones but i tried several just for the sake of it and i occassionally play with Rush Rally 3. It's running good with no overheating during a 30 min period and no noticeable throttling.
The camera is good, apart from the zoom, it's very comparable with the N20U's camera. To be totally honest there is two things in which is the N20U was better: It had a better display and the polished, optimized software for the S-Pen.
So this is not a bad product at all. One of my friends have an OP8Pro and the 9Pro is clearly better in very aspect.

Concering monitoring tools like AccuBattery and DevChecker, since the battery is split in two, do they show the discharge/charge current for the whole battery or just for one of the two parts? I get between 150mA and 300mA when doing nothing, which is comparable to my Note10+ 5G, it would be pretty bad though if that was only for one of the two parts since that would mean an idle current of 300mA to 600mA.
