After installing the new update, phone is still warm and battery status on DevCheck shows overheat (temp - 40 deg C). Anyone else facing the same issue? Looks like this is going to be a recurring problem going forward 🙁

The overheat warning is still false though. Toggle reverse charging on/off if you own a 9 Pro.

Phone appears to overheat more after the recent update. I am not able to use apps like FB/IG/Whatsapp after 5 mins. It feels warm even when not in active use. I am sitting inside an air-conditioned room at 24 degrees. Attaching the screenshot from Devcheck. OP team please help.

When do you face the heating issue? I've seen people stating different scenarios like only while gaming or not facing heating issue at all. I face it almost all the time while using. Only time the phone is at room temperature is when it is not being used. The latest update did address the battery drain issue for me though.

No extreme heat but perhaps not great either.
After an update the system may need some time before it works optimally.
If your activity on the phone always jumps up and down like that and never seems to be more calm there might a few background activities causing some workload. Can be perfectly normal but will cause additional heat and drain. A flatter line means less heat. Perhaps it calms down after a charge cycle or 2.

That's an excellent score 7.5h SoT. I got only 4h to 5h max. My previous phone was about 7 to 8 hours on average SoT. (P30Pro)
