It's it normal for device to go upto 40 degrees just for browsing Instagram for around 10 minutes or so. On OnePlus Diagnosis I've never seen it show good stats for battery. It always shows its faulty. I think my device is a defective device. May I know if anyone else has the same issue?

The app is not prepared to test a device with dual battery, this is way it shows defective.
About the temp, it deppends on the ambient temperature, the background apps that you have running, the screen resolution, brightness and other things

They way you act and attack people with a different opinion makes it impossible to discuss anything with you or take you seriously in anyway at all. But whatever keeps you happy...

Thank you touched. this is because there have been multiple complaints regarding your communication and your knowledge base and basic lack of technical knowledge which often results in wrong usage for forum members and pls dont ask what it is. If you have any technical base you would not responded this way.

I was concerned a bit because, Ambient Temperature is normal, Not much background apps, phone running in Full HD Resolution and not QHD+. Since it was happening at normal condition, I'm not about to test it out at afternoon during high temperature or more than average temperature due to lockdown and I was thinking what if it's too late and if I had a defective device and was not able to get a replacement due to time constraints. That is all. I would still verify for more time and check it out. Thank you for the help.

Yes, in all these scenarios, it was placed on an automatic 120 Hz.
And I never picked 60 Hz.
You want to tell me that when the settings are automatic it appears to be switched to only 60 Hz???
    Please, please.

Some scenarios enter 60 Hz mode automatically instead of Auto 120 Hz. Like YouTube and auto switching while using some keyboards. The system does not currently allow showing the true Hz in 120 mode.
Rumoured to be able to show it on a Samsung 21 Ultra though.
But here is Oneplus official reply.
