I just did 2 full days with dinner music and some phone calls on new update. I also did full reset after New update and I'm using the Microsoft launcher which might do some battery optimization

"Wait for 4-5 days just use your phone charge it normaly."

Everyone who uses mobile data especially 4g facing this issue including me.
I won't recommend you to reset your phone if you want as far as i know reseting won't help in this regard as i have tried it but waiting for few days will surely help you.
you can still reset if you want to it may help you or it can solve some other bugs.

This issue is absolutely ridiculous. What the hell is "cell standby" anyway??? I've never had such a drain on my battery in all the years of using OnePlus phones. 21% is unacceptable - this needs to be fixed ASAP.

    Well yeah - 1h / 20% it's somewhere between 4-5hrs (I'm talking about Mobile Data usage).
    So yeah.
Right now I have 5hrs with 13% left. Full day of usage, took off charger at 5 at morning.

I was able to rollback to 4.5.1(Nougat 7.1.1) stable release with following steps.

    1. Flash Open beta 16(Android Oreo ) for 3T
    2. Flash special Nougat build for 3T. We will lose All apps data. Open beta 16 announcement thread has the kit location of this special Nougat build.
    3. Flash stable release for 4.5.1 (Nougat 7.1.1) for 3T
    4. Reboot to recovery mode and do Factory reset (including user data)

You can refer thread of "dsmonteiro" for kit location and more details.

    Hello, all

Actually, i read a lot of message about battery issue. So, to be honest, i faced to this problem and not it's ok... I didnt used the world fixed. i said ok. why ? My opinion is that there is some functions that are used by the phone and some other that are not usefull for the users.
Basically, when you bought your phone, all the features are activated and of course all the wakelock that we can read all among the community are present.

    - The 1st thing is to think about what you want to use or not. A good example is the feed of android. When i stop this feature of google (because i don't have the need of that), i obvsiously stopped all wakelock linked to this feature.
Think about all the feature that google provides then, aske yourself if you need it. if not, desactivatedd the feature.
    - The 2nd thing i what i call the schröedinger battery drain :-D. When you think that you have problem with you battery, you will always look at him. So basically, even it's for one second, you will wake up your phone and all the feature that are draining battery. So stop look at you phone. You will see some improvement ;-)
    - Finally, there is some tweaks that ca be done (Wakelock block, the fact to use some other application than Facebook...). You will find all the thread in this community.

The goal for me as a user of my smarphone is : during the day, i use my phone so i'm ok with the "normal" draining of my phone. During the night, i want a line in my battery graph because i don't use it.

    Best regards,
