My OnePlus 3 over heats and doesn't even take 3 hours of screen on time. Android system and Android OS are the major battery consumers. My device is always awake even when idle for hours. Standby time decreased like anything. Please solve this issue ASAP.
    Thank you.

I never really look at the battery to be honest as it spoils the fun. For me as long as the phone is smooth that's all I care about as it charges quickly anyway.

dahm and i thought only people in the Netherlands complain a lot.
So many posts here that are more a statement then actually then a complaint.
the first thing that you all need to do post something useful.
And with usefull i mean a full battery cycle with screen on time. Also use programs like betterbattery stats or wake lock detector to see what is eating you battery.
keep in mind if you use aggressive doze programs like BBS won't work and one other thing Root is required.
I know the root thing can cause issues so in my opinion a full wipe is the best but not the prettiest solution.
and for those who are rooted use titanium backup for a quick start.

I would suggest an absolutely clean install. Back up your data to PC or do a nandroid backup. Wipe everything and then do an adventure sideload of the ROM. Then do a reinstall of data. That is what I do. This mornings screenshot.
also try this, I have posted it many times before. This will turn your device into a battery/performance beast. https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/advanced-interactive-governor-tweaks-t3476589

How is an ADB sideload any cleaner than installing from internal storage (zip file) and then doing a wipe in recovery or a factory reset? I know that might be a silly question, but just wondering....

but after every update we need to do this..this is not convenient not at all..backing up data wiping then again restoring all the data..this is not the way a smartphone should work..i feel the more the updates and the more the things get screwed up..every time a update comes it fixes less things and ruins more..nothing against anyone but just my feeling
