Thats weird.. Android OS and system feature battery usage reduces after a 3-4 days. After every new rom flash this drain will be high and it will reduce substantially after 3 days.

Did you sideload the rom or just got OTA for OOS 4.1.0? I suggest u do a clean flash with twrp recovery, may help :)

This option works, but seems not like the easiest solution, since you have to root your device.

I think this is normal, because Android needs some time to settle. 2-3 days seem a little long but it depends on your usage.

Nearly 14% drain over last night, using only one sim, wifi, data off.Hilariously power saving mode drains the battery more.

Second point is so true. If the onset of problem is just after update, they are the main culprit.

Yep. Some apps are not being optimized in right way by the devs. These apps are the culprits for wake locks & running the Android system yet people blame OEM for battery drain.

It is a simple issue & really easy to make you think "why other devices are not facing this?"
May be because they are not having these kind of Culprit Apps installed.

charge ur battery to 100% before sleeping at night and leave the phone till morning. Take the phone to ur work or use ur phone like u do everyday,u can see a change in battery life.

    like this after doing that.

I don't play any games at all and I still get 3.5-4 hours of SOT at max. hence my annoyance.

I live in India and I can differentiate the temperature that my phones goes to from normal charging temperature. My phone was heating up like I was putting in the oven to cook it. I shifted to the OB4 now. no issues with overheating while charging now but Play Services is still sucking the life out of my battery.

Op3 has 6gb ram coupled with SD820. Performance will certainly not be affected much.
