I regret the inconvenience caused to you, this is to inform you that OnePlus device comes with Qualcomm snapdragon processor and it produces heat when it runs in the background. It is normal and will not affect the device or its health.

However, I would request you to please follow the below mentioned troubleshooting for heating issue.

    Heating issue:

    1. Turn off unusable functions, exit the camera, reduce the screen brightness and shorten the time of the screen lighting.

    2. Clean up the background running process, download software or games in official store, upgrade the software or application to the latest version.

    3. Cleaning up the cache regularly and keep enough space.

    4. We recommend you to avoid using the device while charging.

Have u tried cache wipe?? Try it and see.
Basically, switch off ur fone. Restart by pressing Volume up+power+home button.
This will get u to the Recovery menu. Go to cache wipe by pressing the volume key. And select cache wipe by pressing power key. That's it..

Check your apps, there might be one that's causing major battery drain. If not try doing a factory reset or reflash the rom.
