    You've been watching videos.
HD Videos require high CPU Usage, and also, your display is constantly being used. So if you watched movies from 10 am to 2 pm, I wouldn't blame the battery or the phone, for dropping 60℅

My 64gb OP3T has developed heating issues post Oxygen OS 4.0.3 installation. The regular battery temperature used to be under 25 degree Celsius which now has gone up to 35 without any heavy usage. The phone would get very hot while charging which wasn't the case earlier. I keep minimum background activities.

Also, if you are using HD wallpapers on your phone.... They tend to consume high battery usage and overhead. Had this problem when I had applied HD wallpaper for 2 days.

There is option in setting- battery to turn off the doze mode. it worked for my OP3t. Just check. My 3T is working fine since last 3hrs. Earlier it was draining out. This have started after OS update 4.0.3.

Hope this helps resolve the battery issues ....

Just in case you did not do a Factory reset, I would suggest that you do ... ENSURE that you have backed up all you data !!!
    • Update all apps from Play store to latest version.
    • Charge the battery to 100%
    • Boot in recovery Mode and delete cache.
    • Factory reset the device once the update is completed
    • Fresh install apps from PlayStore and update them to the latest version.
Investing the time in all these usually ensures smooth performance ... Worth it !!!

That's life for a forum regular. Many people join a forum to ask one specific question. Telling noobs to "use the search function" isn't a viable option. Most of them come here for a quick answer to a problem, not to scour the forum looking for the answer in an older post. It will always be this way. Just wait until the next OnePlus4 drops. There will be so many "Should I buy the OP4 or wait for the OP4T" posts that your head will explode.
