My Oneplus 3T is heating up with just basic web browsing and light usage.
It isn't uncomfortable heat, but it is noticeable.
    Any advice?

May i know if you are using Chrome?
This browser could be causing it or you might have found it while your phone was getting charged. However, within a minute or so after you unplug it, the device should lose its temperature.
Suggested to do a factory reset if you still find it.

It's a bug in the Rom that spikes the CPU to 80-90% a reboot usually solves it for me.

I must say this why some phones are premium range phone and one plus is just a bad phone with badly optimised OS, I have posted more questions here than the combined no of days I have used this phone till now
let's discuss the issue so while browsing web or watching videos in chrome my phone is getting abnormally warm (kind of hot towards the top of screen) no I am not doing any rendering etc in the back ground some times even randomly

I am seriously disappointed with this phone ...
any one else experiencing the same ? I'm on MM
os issue ? need to reset my device ?

totally agree. if premium phones charges premium they provide premium phones. my phones get heat up literally while playing subway surfers for say 20 to 30 minutes. not value for money this phone

This issue is coming randomly on some user. I have read that the cpu idels between 80-90% for some reason. That´s the reason and drains battery too.
I would recommend you to a factory reset.
