I use my phone a lot and it easily lasts the whole day. However, after the latest patch I have noticed a slight difference. But, still pretty good.

Tell me if I'm wrong but it would be nice to describe the way you use your phone when you have an issue with the battery :
    - Adaptative brightness : used or not ? If not, how high do you set it ?
    - What's your theme ?
    - LTE enabled 24/7 ? Is the wifi always enabled when you're in a known place ?
Obviously, it's not an exhaustive list but I think you got it. Of course, the community is here to help but without information from your end, we won't be able to give a proper answer

I just downgraded to 5.1.7 yesterday and the battery is amazing as it was with my op5. So happy with it and looking forward to 5.1.9 or so to OnePlus fix thay problem.

It will depend on what you are doing. As the processor is asked to do more work - ie when playing games, or processing video/HDR photos etc it will warm up.

So you claim your battery is draining but provide no information regarding this. I am going to call the usual:
    • Poor network service

Of course they did, they are probably tired of people with non-issues contacting them. IT'S NORMAL. Phones heat up when being charged. 41 degrees is normal, even in Ireland where I love.

Lol I think 36,5 degrees isn't normal when just doing whatsapp and chrome browsing or?
Mine is getting like real warm while doing social media.

What's the air temperature? What apps are running in the background?

Air temperature outside is 25 degrees I think, but cloudy, not sunny.
I have only one App running in the background, Spotify. And yes like I said I'm just browsing through chrome for example or typing on whatsapp.

Turn off Spotify and test again.
