Don't compare heating problem with the apps inability to support19:9 ratio. Also im not complaining and you aren't a developer so stop playing detective about the problems i have.

I've tried doing that and with the "Deep Clear" under Recent App Management, my emails do not get alerted although all the priority setting is at "high". There are certain apps that I will not receive notifications from. So what is the point of this if notifications aren't coming through? I think OP team has to take a look into the battery drain. I'm getting 3.5 hours of screen time with normal usage

Here is the tip and you can save your battery life for long time.

There are alot of information we dont know about how you optimize your phone. background data, screen strength etc etc. ive had iPhone 4, 5, 6, and now OnePlus 6 and couldnt be more happy about the batterytime noticable with the big screen, Speed and quality you get. Try play around with settings and optimize it and compare it later is my tip.
sorry for bad English tho [e]270c[/e]

edit: dont do like previous reply say, quickest thing to kill a battery is to microcharge a phone every day, you should let it die from time to time and Always charge full.

here is my battery, not used it to much here tho since last charge, mostly spotify running in background and random checking apps.

When you're using Deep Clear, do you have any problem with receiving notifications from Emails and etc? The notifications from Whatsapp and SMS messages are fine but again, I'm not sure why my emails don't come through. I'm using the Outlook app as my email preference.

    Thank you!

i dont have issues with mails, i am using only Gmail, if u r not very much worry about the battery and SOT, then u use Normal Clear. Its Ok, well u clear the app from Recent Buttons or clear your Ram Manually. Since app open in Background eating up RAM and thats also goes for Battery.

    hope it'll helps, thank you.

Overheating is the only issue I am not concerned with my oneplus 6. It does not overheat even after playing graphic intensive games such as real racing and need for speed. The problem you are describing should be a software issue.

last night, know would have gone to 10hrs SOT

I don't know might be you are faking that SOT, your battery graph shows that you are charging your phone side by side that's the reason you are getting 9.5hrs of SOT
