based off my usage, that is shit. Until this update, with heavy game usage, I'd go to bed and still have over 50% left. now with minimal usage I'm lucky to get 3 hours.

Then you aren't reading the graphs right. Android bases it's prediction on what your usage is like since the last full battery change, not on lifetime. So, based on the graph you supplied it shows that you had over 2/3s of your time with the screen on. Android sees that and guess you are going to continue with the screen on for the rest of the 2/3s of your battery life. So yes, based on your use it shows good life. Put the phone done without doing anything on it for an hour and that prediction will change.

I know how to read the graph, you apparently do not know how to read. this was taken after minor usage compared to what I normally do, yet in an hour my battery drained 5x fatter than it did before the update under far heavier usage.

I don't care what the prediction says, nor do I even pay it any attention. the amount drained is far more than it should be for the minor amount of usage.

of usage hasn't changed from one day to the next, the only logical explanation is something else has changed. in this case, there is no other change but the update.

unless you're saying, we running charge our usage because of the update...

see if you play heavy games then battery will show less time as it adjust the usage but if you don't play games or heavy apps then the battery will last for full day or more
    just my observation

let it settle? you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. software doesn't slowly change over a week, once changed it's changed. outing installed, it's done. nothing is going to change in a week unless another update is sent out.

right, newbie. yes I be be new to the oneplus but I've worked on the IT field for 20 years, including as a developer. you are either a troll making shit up, or too lazy to do even basic research yourself and just spouting out shut you've heard before.

I've never had battery drain after any update with the 1, 3, or 6. Don't know why these threads are necessary after every incremental update. What no one knows is what else is on your device? What 3rd party apps, settings, etc.

Contact support if you believe there's an issue with your device. This kind of thread does nothing.
