Do you not think it might use some battery when loading data in the background, or do you suppose OP have invented a perpetual energy machine to power the OP6?

    not sure either..

btw no battery optimazition for all google app.
i can't find playstore, youtube , inbox, gmail ,map, duos, hangout in battery optimazition menu, so it might have something to do with google privilege given by op , just guessing though..

google explicitly can do whatever they want in one plus, even draining your battery

I don't think there is any solution for prevention feom battery draining!
let's just hope OnePlus gives us a new update regarding that!

Battery drainage is usually due to either user error or bad signal. Sometimes both.

I just get my new phone few day ago. Out of the box load with OOS 5.1.8, I update it to 5.1.9
now the issue is the battery drain from 100 to 79 over the night. is this normal? I'm yet to set my SIM into it.

Give your phone some time to adjust to the update and in the meantime switch off your WiFi and gps while sleeping. And if the situation persists after some days then maybe you got a faulty device, ask for a replacement.
