I have the same battery issues since updating to Pie about 3 weeks ago, sot and standby time has dropped by about 40% for me. I tried deleting cache in recovery, hasnt made a difference.
I have considered rolling back to oreo but i cant be bothered and it doesnt affect me too bad since i dont use my phone too much, instead of getting 35hrs battery life im getting about 20hrs now, which still usually lasts me a day.
Hope this gets a fix soon. Screenshot_20180929-030832.jpg Screenshot_20180913-163205.jpg

Hi guys, Ive been facing issues with reduced battery life and battery heating since the last update of the OS. Since the update I've also faced issues with the camera app causing the phone to hang, and it also lags when returning to home screen sometimes. The phone is only 1 month old. Is this common after the update? a friend of mine faced similar problems with the camera after the new update as well. Will there be another update released soon to solve this?

Since 2 days ago, my battery is draining fast mostly because of Android background activities. The screenshot shows how my OP6 draining from full charge to 81% during my 4 hours sleep, with all background apps cleared and restart after the full charge.

Previously after I updated to AP9.0, I constantly get a wonderful battery life with easy 5-6 hours SoT battery life, and usually eats me about 2-4% of battery during my sleep.

Anyone of you experiencing the same battery draining issue because of Android OS and Android System? Any solution to solve this?

Drain it fully then charge back up without turning it on.

    Dear Team,

Oflate I have realised that after the latest update the battery back up has certainly gone down.

The worst part is the intensity for brightness needs to increased significantly for a better vision.

    please suggest?

First I would suggest taking 5 minutes of your day to read all the features and changes Google made in Pie before creating yet another redundant thread. You can then read up on how the forum works about creating redundant threads.

No OP Team Members are on the user side of the forum, so you're posting to nobody other than other users.

There's nothing wrong the battery, at all.

    Can you provide more details?

For me , minor heating is while charging and playing heavy games on high graphics. Also some heating is faced when camera is kept functioning for around 8-10 mins (includes snapchat).
