Actually, it's better to get the graphs when it's lower because when it hits 100% the recent apps used gets removed. Wait till it hits ~15% THEN screenshot the graph.

    Hi,

I have a very strange battery / heating problem since wednesday/thursday.
Usually, when i notice this (1 issue by 1 or 2 months max), i reboot the phone and the problem is solved. Today, the problem persists.

I do not see any app that can cause the issue. My usual apps are mentionned in the battery monitoring.
I did a test on friday / saturday : i charged my phone to 100% while off, i started it, i put it on airplane mode and unplugged in.
During the night, in 10 hours, the battery lost 57% ! Usually it is 3-5% max... Screen in copy. I looked to details, but i did not noticed any specific app (no print screen sorry)

I started to investigate and see with CPU-Z that CPU4 to CPU7 when idle @2803Mhz
If the others CPU are used, sometimes CPU4/7 reduced theirs speed at 2649Mhz, but when returning idle, they come back to the max value.

So, i checked for an upgrade and found the 10.3.2, upgraded the phone, wiped the cache (as always after an upgrade...). The problem is still here.

I started to uninstall a lot of apps not essential or easily installable, but no result... even with some restarts.
I decided to backup the phone, charge it to 100%, and full reset it (with no user data, pictures...). After the setup, i just install CPU-Z : BACK TO NORMAL, YES !

I launched the restore from my backup : Still running fine... I thought it was resolved and continue to reconfigure / reinstall apps, monitoring with CPU-Z eventually...
After 2 hours or more (unplugged) with no problem, i noticed that the phone started to warm up. Verdict with CPU-Z : the problem is back... even with a reboot.

I tried to uninstall the 2/3 apps that i had just installed or configured, but the problem is still here...
I'm not able to determine if an app is causing this (if the app was in the backup, maybe when i launched it, the problem is triggered?) . I also try to kill one by one all the apps, the CPU is still stuck.

Maybe it is an app that was in the backup, when launched, a backgroung process / service is launched... I have no idea...
Is there any way to see processes / services to debug this problem ?

I spent a lot of time on this... Any help appreciated :)

I will try the same test as friday for this night... and tomorrow... is another day.

Clearing the cache does nothing as there's no cache to clear in A/B devices. Did you try a full wipe?

today, i have erased gradually the applications from my phone and reboot it multiple times.
now, all applications are deleted (but not CPU-Z), and I still have the problem.

This night I wanted to reproduce my drain test from Friday night.

After a full charge, I turned on the phone, activated airplane mode, unplugged the adapter, an let the phone in standby.

After 56 minutes, 11% lost. And no app mentioned.
In these conditions, my phone autonomy is 9h, doing nothing! [e]1f620[/e]

I found the app causing my problem. it is WhatsApp. But... uninstalling the app do not resolve the problem, I must wipe my phone to get the CPU back to normal frequencies !
When wiped, i reinstall WhatsApp, and during the restore the CPU get stuck after 90-95% of the progression.

I emailed WhatsApp support, but i think it can be a problem with OxygenOS too... uninstalling the app should at lest restore the cpu... no ?
