Nothing to worry about, I am at 82% after 20 months on 6T. Still get up to 10 hours SOT. Phone functions fine.

You should be good for another couple of years.

After a system update, allow 2 or 3 full battery cycles for things to settle down. Also charge the phone overnight, at least occasionally, to allow the system to calibrate for battery usage.

if we charge the overnight battery may burst or life may decrease

My SOT is very low, at around 3 hours maximum.
I'm thinking of getting a battery replacement.

Oneplus diagnostic. It is not on the Play Store. You need to install it through the apk file.

Exactly. This is what I'm talking about.
You charged 24 hours ago and with 6 hours of screen on time your battery is still at 84%. Mine is 78% with only 41 mins of screen on time.

is this normal? if I add up the battery consumption by each app or service, it goes around 20%. but my battery has depleted by more than 40%. I have been getting very low SOT of around 3 hours.

Try to Optimize the phone, clear your recent apps, also set 3rd party apps to Optimize in Settings Battery, only leave the ones you need run in the background or to notify you such as messages, email, Google Services, oneplus etc on Intelligent control.

Android may take a few days to optimize those apps after setting them to Optimize depending on your usage of those apps. A10 has its own learning curve.

Go through 2 to 3 charge cycles, leave on charge beyond full capacity for a couple of hours. Preferably overnight.

After a few days, Check App battery stats at about 50% and see if there are particular apps using more resources than necessary.

I seriously wonder how people get 10h of SOT. I have the OP6 since April 2019 and I'm already at 81% status which makes sense considering the shelf capacity loss from 2018 and my usage (charging everyday). However I never had a particular high SOT. And I'm really not a heavy user. I don't play games or use socials. My usage is Chrome, Telegram and YT, that's it. My SOT is 3:30h/4h at max.
Since people get 10h of SOT with the same capacity I have I find a battery replacement a waste of money.
Also I wanted to do it myself to save money but batteries aren't sold by OP officially so I'm scared the ones you find online are bad quality or already too old.
