I had amazing battery life.. And hadn't updated since springtime. Decided to start the updates up to the beta 10.30... Now it's like a Samsung phone 😂😂😂

So it definitely has something to do with the updates this year.

Some added feature is draining the battery. I don't know which update it started in because I did several updates at once.

I did turn off location per app, all denied but some during use. Also turned off wifi and BT scanning under location, will post back if it helps any.

No such thing as "battery backup" as the phone only has a single battery.

Am facing serious battery drain issues with my OnePlus 6T after updating to Android 10.3.0

Kindly request OnePlus to look into this bug!!
At 10 pm my phone's battery was - 100% when unplugged
At 6.30 am with wifi, location, mobile data etc all turned off
My battery percentage had dropped a significant amount and was at 79%
When I checked in the battery section it showed Android System consumed so much in one night.
Screen on time is also not more than 3.5hrs
Before updating with same apps and same usage used to get almost 8 hours

Kindly request OnePlus to look into matter!!

    Thank You

My phone lasted 2 days before. The last 10 hours of the attached screenshot the phone was locked and not used. Seems the new update has made battery life less than half.

When did you update vs. when did you format/calibrate the battery?

I have a 6T McLaren. I was used to charging it every 3 days or so. I now have to charge it every day - even with little usage. The battery life used to be excellent and was one of the reasons I bought a OnePlus.
This all started after the Android 10 and OS 10.3.0 updates.

After updated my one plus 6t to oxygen os 10.3.0 my mobile battery is draining so soon and sometimes if I open camera, a black screen appears later showing camera is in use and close automatically . when I choose potrait mode sometimes it quits automatically and came to home screen .

    Thanks in advance!!

Also having battery drain after 6T upgrade to 10.3.0. Second problem is that phone gets really hot while using Android Auto. I didn't have any heating problem before upgrade - even after driving for hours.

I'm very unhappy with the battery on the 6T. I just got the phone back from OnePlus who did a battery replacement. I'm down to 53% after 2.5 hrs of onscreen time. Just browsing, texts, emails, and radio.com. While I was waiting for my phone to be repaired, I used a cheap LG K40 with a 3,000 maH battery, and got all day usage doing the same things. Can someone please explain how this happens?

Plug it in overnight is the quickest.
