[UNIFIED] Op6t battery and heating thread Nov 26, 2018

My 6t full battery (100%) lasts only for 2-3 hours now, whereas earlier it used to last atleast 14-16 hours. All i do now is the same as before, net surfing, gaming, netflix. Also, while charging and gaming it gets heated up real quick. Attaching ss for reference.
P.s. Earlier too i used to do gaming, etc but this issue is observed after upgrading to Android 10.

my OnePlus 6t battery is draining so fast and in night when i go to sleep my battery use to be at 70%but when i wake up it actually decreased to 56% it is draining....

i always prefer dark mode
but it isn't working this problem is occurring aftee the new update!!

Hi, mostly after update to OS 10.3.2, battery issues are prominent which includes rapid drainage and device heats up to a point I had to keep it off my hands. I had done remote flashing of this device from OnePlus care but still these issues are not resolved.

In night when I go to sleep and next morning when I got up in mean time after turning on battery saver also my battery got 10%drain without any use.

Same for me as well. Restarting the phone is a temporary solution. After 2 or 3 days again the idle battery drain starts. I could not find the exact reason.

Your Google Play services is consuming lot of battery. If Google services like location, maps etc are used it's fine else clear the cache of Google Play services

Everything working fine until one day charging time spiked up from 1.5 hours for a full charge to shocking 6 hours! Charging cable is fine, so is the adapter. If anyone else is having the same problems please let me know!

I have been having very less SOT about 5-6 hours.inspite of using 50% brightness , not a single game installed,no social media apps like Facebook, Instagram,.
no Bluetooth or LTE usage..
I have bought OnePlus 6T Tmobile version from one plus website..
I have seen this degrading performance after upgrading to Android 10.
I have opened ticket with OnePlus technical team n haven't heard back from them from almost a month now .
I tried every options suggest on this thread as well as got seperate replies on other thread from OnePlus members on our OnePlus community.
Any suggestions on way forward to get this resolved..

That's the problem with 3rd party apps measuring phone stats. They are unreliable.
